About the Property: The easement on Chandler Hill was donated in 2017 by the Shippee family. Their woodlot abuts Mt. Blue State Park and the neighboring York Hill Conservation Easement, adding to a network of connected, permanently conserved lands in western Maine along the Tumbledown Mountain Range. The Chandler Hill easement prohibits development and requires thoughtful and sustainable management of forest resources.
