About the Property: The Eagle Lake Conservation Easement permanently conserves 5, 373 acres of forestlands. The property is primarily forested and includes more than 3 ½ miles of shoreline along Eagle Lake and the entire shoreline of Little Pickerel Pond. The Eagle Lake property also includes 858 acres of wetlands, important for many wildlife species. The conservation of this property expands upon the contiguous corridor of conservation that reaches to the U.S. – Canada border. ATV and snowmobile trails traverse the property, connecting trails from around Nicatous Lake to the Stud Mill Road and beyond.
